I accidentally came across your web site and was amazed at the memories I had of being in Lesotho from 1972-1975. My third child was born at Tebellong Hospital. Your pictures and story are fabulous! |

Theresa, What an amazing journey you undertook to find yourself and help the Basotho people. I spent 3 years living in Khohlontso Village near Katse Dam. While reading your entries and watching your video diaries I felt myself being taken back to all the emotions I felt being a lone white woman riding horses through the mountains to different villages to teach teachers and promote the Maluti Youth Group. In my three years there I always wanted to go on a trek of your magnitude, but never could get it put together. Thank you for taking the lovely people of Lesotho into your heart and finding a way that is so Basotho (the horsemen and women of Africa)and giving them something that may help to lessen the plague that is destroying the Mountain Kingdom. Khotso, Pula, Nala Ausi Theresa.
Yours,
Ausi Pulane Tefo

i am so happy and glad that you made it home safely and you have made a real difference and it is sad you had to leave your horse behind and sell him but you might find a new horse or another pet. |

Hi there T. We made our journey safely to Ficksburg and back to Pretoria, but it wasn't that easy as we had some serious climbing to do with our bikes on the way to Pitseng. Our ride over the damwall was fantastic(as you know),but we had to do some nagotiating to get permission to cross the wall! i pray that Gods peace and protection will be with you as you head back to your family and friends, and that he will bless youre cause and that every $ will still come in until you reach your goal! it was realy a privilage to have met you on our 'little journy' Hope Lali's feet get well soon! blessings.. Francois and Ian. |

Hi Theresa. It has been amazing to be sharing part of the journey with you. A big thanks to Ant for all his hard work. Seeing some of the familiar places has been so great - even Corin's birthplace. I was sad to see the Hospital so much in need of repair - I will be doing some fund-raising here to contribute to your goals. Your time there seems to have gone so quickly. You have inspired me. Thankyou Tee. Alli |

Hello Teresa,
I've been updated occasionally by your dad, and he pointed me to this site. So inspiring to see this journey go through and may the winds stay at your back. G'day, and maybe we'll see Michael when he gets to Tennessee. Lots of love on your way. Ralph |
